I have 3 PM Rolexes, so "yes" I believe that they are worth it. BUT, it depends on what you are looking for. The OP mentions some pretty high end, heavy hitting brands and most of those brands make beautiful dress watches and maybe one, single sports model.

I like pm /two tone watches which are made better because of the pm. Example - bluesy submariner. The gold/blue combo is so much nicer than if it were just steel/blue. It seems nowadays, PM Rolexes cost as much as watches from the holy trinity or Lange or even boutique brands like Journe or Gronefeld. Do you think they’re overpriced? Would you take a PM Rolex over a Patek or Journe at the same price ?
The day-date might be a little harder than a sub (especially Cookie Monster), but some PM models like the full gold root beer or the blue dial rose gold Sky Dweller might not be available for a while. Just wondering what your opinion was on the ultimate PM sports model? I started a thread earlier about p/x'ing some of my pieces for a smurf, but a few have suggested if going for PM, stick with gold.
