It endured temperatures as low as -28 degrees and stayed on the wrist almost 24 hours a day. The watch was worn during, high speed snowmobile rides, dog sled rides, hiking and Ice cave exploration. There are a few Chicchi di Mais 16550s out there, from the very end of production where Rolex had corrected the cream ‘fault’.
