I recently jumped at the chance to borrow and photograph a friend’s Reference 5089G-018 created for Patek Philippe’s 175 th Anniversary in 2014, featuring on its dial a recreation in wood of a vintage postcard of an “old Lake Leman barque in Geneva harbor.”Diameter: 38.6 mm. Caliber 240. Ultra-thin self-winding movement. Sapphire-crystal back protected by a hinged dust cover engraved with “PATEK PHILIPPE GENEVE 175e Anniversaire 1839-2014”. Limited edition.
