Would those that have shopped at multiple (US-based) boutiques say that is true, or is the negativity in this thread more a reflection of how frustrating the Hermes sales model/game can be . I shop in DC. I am currently at 6:1 still no offer. I have been with my SA for 2 years. I will probably shop at another location soon. My bank is burned. A lot of us are done with DC and it’s super sad. I really want to be loyal but it’s impossible when they don’t try to help. I have talked to people who work at other luxury brands locally and they say they all avoid Hermes. No one wants to work there because of how they run the store. I don’t know. Anyone have a good experience with DC? Luckily my DH doesn’t know Hermes from H&M! But Chicago is a great city. Great shopping, amazing food, excellent museums.
Hi all! I stopped by the Hermes store to pick up some gifts for the Lunar New Year. Completely empty store, and I had a great time with all the SAs but especially with mine, who is new to DC (he came from Miami). We got along fantastically, he gave me his business card and I ended up buying myself a LNY gift too haha.
