VPH is more of a sparkling, lemon forward scent. AHS is more of a creamy, mandarin forward scent. I actually get good performance out of both, but my skin may be an outlier - I actually get better performance out of AHS than AHSEE. I find the Chanel to be a lot more “aldehydic”, whereas Versace is a bit more aquatic to my nose. Both are good fragrances - would say the Chanel is a bit overpriced, while VPH from a discounter is good value.
