A year ago I went to an AD and tried the pam1084, unfortunately the lug to lug distance is wider than my wrist, with a 6” wrist 44mm Pams are just not for me. When wearing it it looks like a clock overhanging on my wrist. Any Panerai owners having a wrist size of around 6.0-6.25 inches and wearing a 44mm Panerai. If yes, do post some pics of the watch on your wrist. I am curious to see if it looks ok or whether it looks big. Okay okay okay the Rolex is awesome! But size shouldn’t be a reason to not try a Panerai. ^_^
As another smallwristed Asian I do have to say that PAM are fairly forgiving thanks to the short curved lugs. The case fills up your entire wrist, which takes getting used to, but there won't be any hideous overhang that you get on watches with a similar size but more traditional long straight lugs. 1.
