The 682 is a cool watch and can be had in the pre-owned market for 30-40% off retail. That is where you should be price wise for any of the Panerai models. I just got a 1389 and enjoy the 47 mm case but I have a 7.5-7.75 inch wrist.

Most submersibles were made in 44mm and 47mm until 2017 when they released the PAM682 in a 42mm case to fit men with smaller wrists like mine. Pros: Smaller wrist sizes can now enjoy Panerai. Adjusting time on the go is super easy. The rubber strap is comfortable on the wrist. Cons: Some may appreciate an open case-back. No in-house movement. Some may find the pricing to be expensive.
