The One EDP is by far the better choice. They are nearly the same scents, but the EDP has better performance. Dark and mysterious, yet alluring. It takes the original EDT (which is still great) and adds more depth. If I had to pick one it would be EDT, I think it similar to EDP but smells a little better to my nose and longevity is the same for both for me. The One for Men by Dolce&Gabbana is a Woody Spicy fragrance for men. The One for Men was launched in 2008. The nose behind this fragrance is Olivier Polge. Top notes are Grapefruit, Coriander and Basil; middle notes are Ginger, Cardamom and Orange Blossom; base notes are Amber, Tobacco and Cedar. I'd have to say D&G The One is in the top 10-15 fragrances by gross sales, but it's in the bottom half somewhere. The One EDP is a decent current modern fragrance, I think the EDT performance is lacking although it still smells good. It's honestly my favourite scent. It's profile is exquisite - I love the sweet notes. Most people would say EDP. They say the EDT does not last. I have an older batch of EDT and it lasts all day. So I cannot say for the current formula and batch. But if you are getting double the amount for less money. I say go EDT and spray more or reapply.
