Here is a Tudor sub with the same dimensions (40mm wide and 48mm lug2lug height) on my 6.75ish wrist: There was already a big poll about a Sub-C on a 6-inch wrist. Vast majority said it looked far too big. A 14060 and any other Sub have virtually identical lug to lug lengths and will overlap a 6-inch wrist. Posts: 414. I own 5 and 6 digit GMTs with a 6.2 inch wrist. The 16710 wears substantially smaller than the 6 digit, even though dimensions are roughly the same. Probably most likely due to the more pronounced "look at me" bezel. I enjoy both, but no question the 5 digit wears smaller. Unless you are going to dive with a thick wetsuit I would say aim to have the glidelock a couple to a few notches from the smallest setting so you can tighten the watch .
Many factors to consider besides watch diameter. Wrist shape (round or flat) also plays a role. Short and curved lugs combined with leather straps make Panerai wear smaller than the diameter. If you want a Luminor, consider trying some Bettarini case models (000, 005, 111, etc), which wear closer to the wrist than the 1950 case models.
