I stumbled on this short-run Navitimer Aviastar and couldn’t pass it up. I have a Breitling Aviastar A13024 which I purchased in Hongkong back in 1997. I am very fond of this precious timepiece which has worked loyally through. Personally, I find the Aviastar falls between today’s Navitimer and Windrider family where the TransOcean models, using a similar domed sapphire glass, being a dressier alternative (note the Aviastar uses mineral glass). One distinctive trait of this watch is it’s legibility.
